Over the last three articles, I’ve performed a forensic autopsy on the physical reality of the “Cloud”—establishing that hyperscale AI data centers aren’t ethereal entities floating in the heavens but rather heavy, thirsty concrete boxes acting as localized parasites on public utilities—and I’ve shown you how local taxpayers are forced to subsidize their multi-gigawatt power habits.
I really hope this gets the traction it needs. Very well done, and will continue to follow to see how it goes. They are proposing a data center in the next county and I'm going to take a look at. I know Duke energy has been approved to build a SMR which will provide the energy for it, and a little extra for the peasants. What amazes me is that our corrupt government actually voted to allow them to pass the construction cost on to us. So we get to build the nuclear-powered facility, while they make the profits.... So sweet....
Use my local and state letters to force the issue. Get it circulated. I’m building a preso to go to the local county board. I’ll share when I finish it.
